Tours to Sun City and Safaris to Pilanesberg Game Reserve.

The itinerary is as follows:

Early departure from your address
Drive towards Hartebeespoort dam and enjoy the beautiful country side and mountains
Pass Hartebeespoort dam and on our way we stop at the Dam Wall, where we can take photos of the beautiful scenery.
Continue with our journey and stop for a break at a local filling station. Here you can buy soft drinks and refreshments
We continue our journey to Pilanesberg and duration is one hour.
As we arrive at the park, we start our safari with our own vehicle to spot the Big Five animals
At noon we will stop at the Pilanesberg centre for a light lunch. Some times you are lucky and can then spot animals drinking water from the nearby water hole while you are enjoying your lunch
After lunch we will continue to spot the Big five
We will leave the park at 16h00 and expect to be in Johannesburg at about 18h30
End of a wonderful and exciting day out in nature.


The Pilanesberg National Park, the fourth largest National Park in South Africa covers an area of 58 000 hectares and is less than 2 hours drive from Pretoria/Johannesburg


Encircling this unique area are four rings of hills; a geological fascinating alkaline complex produced by volcanic action some 1.2 billion years ago
The park boosts healthy populations of lion, leopard, black and white rhino, elephant and buffalo. Africa's Big Five. There is a wide variety of rare and common species. A few of the endemic species that may be seen here are the noctural brown hyena, the fleet-footed cheetah, the majestic sable, as well as giraffe, springbok, zebra, hippo and crocodile
Bird watching is excellent with over 360 species recorded


You can add a trip to Sun City after the Pilanesberg Safari.

Pilanesberg Safari with open vehichle

Departs from Johannesburg at 06h00 in the morning. Arrive at Pilanesberg at 08h30. Departs at 09h00 with an open vehichle and game ranger into Pilanesberg Nature Reserve to spot the "Big 5". Return back to Manyane Camp after 2-3 hours Game drive, where you can relax in the pool and enjoy the beautiful scenery. You can also buy lunch and refreshments at the camp's restaurant. We will depart from Manyane Camp at 16h00. Arrival time is approximately 18h30 in Johannesburg
