DETAILED ITINERY
Day 1 - North West Province - Pilanesberg National Park
An early departure from Johannesburg/Pretoria as you are transferred to the malaria-free Pilanesberg National Park, a relatively new park only about 2-hours drive away in the North West Province. At 55 000 hectare, the Park is home to the "Big Five" (Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Elephant, Buffalo), 50 other species of large mammals, and 354 bird species. The entire park is situated in the remains of a 1 200 million year old volcanic crater. The night is spent in a new luxury game lodge inside the Park. The luxurious suites are located on the edges of a natural amphitheatre, each features full en suite bathroom, mini bar fridges, air-conditioning and tea and coffee making facilities. Included are late afternoon and early morning game drives in specially adapted open safari vehicles.

Day 2 - North West Province - Pilanesberg National Park
An early wake up call signals the start of yet another exciting day in “Big Five” territory.
You depart on an early morning safari in open 4x4 vehicles after which you return to the lodge for a late breakfast. During the heat of the day you can relax around the sparkling pool or at your luxurious chalet.
This evening another safari in open 4x4 vehicles is undertaken, followed by a scrumptious South African dinner.

Day 3 - End of Safari
After a final open vehicle game drive and a late breakfast you are collected at the lodge and transferred back to Johannesburg / Pretoria. Drop off is at a hotel or guest house of your choice, or the Oliver Tambo International Airport.
