Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Maputo (Mozambique)
Pickup from your Maputo hotel or Maputo International Airport. Time to explore Mozambique’s vibrant capital, including the ocean promenade, local markets, and historic city centre.
Overnight: Maputo
Day 2 – Maputo → Eswatini (Swaziland)
Drive inland and cross into the Kingdom of Eswatini. Visit Mantenga Cultural Village and Mantenga Waterfall in the Ezulwini Valley.
Overnight: Ezulwini Valley / Mbabane area
Day 3 – Eswatini → St Lucia (South Africa)
Travel south into South Africa and reach the coastal town of St Lucia, located within the UNESCO-listed iSimangaliso Wetland Park. Afternoon at leisure.
Overnight: St Lucia
Day 4 – St Lucia Boat Cruise → Howick
Morning guided boat cruise on the St Lucia Estuary, home to hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife. After the cruise, drive inland through KwaZulu-Natal to Howick.
Overnight: Howick
Day 5 – Howick → Underberg → Sani Pass
Early departure to Underberg. Join a guided 09:00 Sani Pass 4x4 tour, ascending one of Southern Africa’s most iconic mountain passes and crossing into Lesotho. Return to Underberg in the afternoon.
Overnight: Underberg
Day 6 – Underberg → Lesotho → Johannesburg
Enter Lesotho via Quaggas Nek Border Post. Travel through the Lesotho Highlands to Semonkong and visit Maletsunyane Falls. Continue via Maseru before returning to Johannesburg.
Drop-off: Johannesburg or OR Tambo International Airport
